2.3 Information from Callers

When someone calls a business using Zovio, our AI may collect:

  • Caller's phone number

  • Name and contact information (if provided)

  • Service requests and appointment preferences

  • Address and location information

  • Voice recordings of the conversation

Important Notice for Business Users: All calls are recorded. Depending on your state or country, you may need to inform callers that the call is being recorded. Some US states (e.g., California, Florida, Illinois) require all-party consent for call recording. We strongly recommend adding a recording disclosure to your AI greeting.

2.4 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

  • Account Data: Retained until you delete your account.

  • Call Recordings: Retained for the duration of your account.

  • Call Logs & Transcripts: Retained for the duration of your account.

  • Client Information: Retained for the duration of your account.

When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems. Your dedicated phone number is also released.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt).

  • Access controls and authentication.

  • Rate limiting and CSRF protection.

  • Secure cloud infrastructure (Render).

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
